Blackjack in '3D View' 3D view puts you right in front of the action, as if you were sitting in an actual casino. Evolution Gaming's blue screen technology is used to seamlessly merge the actual table and cards, with players' virtual chips. Live dealer specialist Evolution Gaming has announced the release of their newest game, ‘Power Blackjack’, which allows for many players and introduces a unique set of game features that prove to be quite compelling.
Evolution first showed off the game in 2020 at ICE London. It has an unlimited number of seats and allows players to double, triple, or quadruple their bet on their initial two cards. Players can continue to multiply their bets even after splitting. The game is playable on both desktop and mobile devices.
Commenting on the launch Evolution’s Todd Haushalter said, “With this game the mission was to give players more of what they love about Blackjack without changing the underlying gameplay. We know that players love classic Blackjack, but we are always looking for new ways to keep it fresh. Creating a version where players can triple and quadruple down, instead of just double down, felt like a great way to do this.”

Blackjack has always been my favourite card game, so when I saw a new Evolution Gaming variant of it with the word “infinite” in the name, I had to investigate further.
At first, I thought Infinite Blackjack might be a game with no table limits, but I was wrong about that. Instead, it is a live dealer blackjack game which can host an unlimited number of players. If you’re confused about how that’s possible, given the limited number of cards in a deck, I’ll cover that below.
I wanted to review Infinite Blackjack for you here. So, I loaded £50 into my account at the Betway online casino and gave it a try.
Infinite Blackjack – How It Works
I did a little research on Infinite Blackjack before I started playing. I wanted to know how it’s possible to host unlimited numbers of players at one table. It turns out that this game blends the live dealer experience with digital cards for the players, making it infinitely scalable.
Two communal cards are dealt for all players to use to begin with, then each player can request hits or decide to stand independently of each other. If you’re confused by that, don’t worry, it will all make sense after you read this walkthrough.
- I sat down at the Infinite Blackjack table at just the right time. A hand had just ended, and a new one was about to begin. The dealer asked us all to place our bets. I wagered £5 on my first hand, ignoring the various side bets for now.
- When the betting window closed, the dealer burned one card and dealt herself two cards. As is usual in blackjack, one of her cards was facing up, and the other was facing down. Two digital cards also appeared on the screen. These are the two communal cards which every player at the table starts playing with.
- A few buttons appeared on the screen. These gave me the option to hit, stand, or double down. I decided to stand as the communal cards were worth 19.
- The dealer then burned another card and dealt herself two more cards. I’m glad she did that as she went bust, and I won.
- The whole game started over, and another round of betting began. I lost the next hand, but that’s okay because I ended up walking away with £50 profit after several more hands.
Infinite Blackjack is very interesting. It’s innovative, as I would expect from Evolution Gaming. Ultimately, the fact that there are possibly hundreds of players at the table doesn’t change the player experience at all. Therefore, Evolution has created a game which you won’t have to wait to play and which won’t negatively impact your gaming experience at all.
Infinite Blackjack Side Bets
While I deliberately ignored the side bets in my Infinite Blackjack walkthrough above, you need to be aware of them, because they offer some potentially lucrative action. There are four potential side bets in total.
Any Pair Side Bet
If you make this side bet, you’re wagering that the first two cards issued to players will be a pair. For example, if the cards are a pair of 7s, you’ll win the bet. Pair bets pay 8:1 when successful. If you get a suited pair, such as a pair of 8s which are both clubs, you’ll win 25:1.
21+3 Side Bet
If you’ve ever wanted to combine poker and blackjack, this is the closest thing you’ll get. You’ll use your first two cards and the dealer’s first card to make poker hands. The best possible hand is suited trips (three aces) which pays 100:1.
Hot 3 Side Bet
With this side bet, you can use the dealer’s up-card as part of your blackjack hand. If your first two cards and the dealer’s first card make 19, 20, or 21, you’ll get paid. If you manage to get 21 with three 7s, you’ll win 100:1.
Bust It Side Bet
You’re betting on the dealer going bust with this side bet. The more cards she has in her hand when she does so, the more you win. For example, if the dealer busts with three cards, you’ll win 1:1. If she busts with eight or more cards, you’ll win 250:1.
Six Card Charlie
It’s also worth noting that the six-card Charlie rule applies in Infinite Blackjack. This isn’t a side bet as such, and it automatically applies to each hand with no extra wager required. If you have a six-card hand under the value of 21, you’ll get a 2:1 payout.

If you’re planning to play Infinite Blackjack, I’ve got a few tips for you. These apply to most live dealer blackjack games, but one is specific to this particular variant.

- Consult the Pay Table – You’ll be able to see how all of the side bets work and exactly what they pay in various different outcomes. It’s worth spending a few seconds looking at this before placing those wagers. Sit one hand out and review these bets, or keep the pay table open as you play so that you can always consult it.
- Use a Cheat Sheet – While you can see the dealer, she can’t see you. Unless you’re a blackjack pro, you should be using a basic strategy cheat sheet. You can keep digital versions of these open in your browser, or you can print them out. They’ll tell you what to do in every scenario. If you play perfectly, you can bring the house edge down to 0.5%.
- Focus on Your Cards – Bring your a-game and don’t get distracted by the dealer or the number of players. Oh, and while I’m on the topic, players can send messages to the dealer. Please be respectful to them at all times and refrain from making any unnecessary or unwarranted comments, or you may be ejected from the game.
Final Verdict
I really enjoyed this live blackjack variant, especially when I got into the side bets after my first couple of hands. To be honest, the only immediate benefit of the “Infinite” feature is that you don’t have to wait for a seat. Otherwise, it’s a normal game of blackjack, and you won’t notice much difference.
As with all other Evolution live games, everything is high-quality and professionally done. The betting limits are between £1 and £1,000, so you’ll be able to play according to your budget.
